Recently, I chanced upon the
National Archives of Singapore website as I was searching for some old maps in Singapore. I was very excited that there is a searchable
database for the Cartographic and Architectural records. Punched in "Lorong Mayang" and I am surprised to see so many old maps of the place I used to live in.

A rough visual overlay with Google Maps showed that the area has not been developed and therefore I have decided to go on a journey to trace my roots and rediscover the area I have no recollections of it as of now. Thus the Journey begins .........
